Maneybhanjang marks the end of the road - a village dissected by India / Nepal border, it’s here where tarmac turns to rubble and the road into the world’s highest mountain range becomes incredibly treacherous. The lifeblood of this community - a collection of original series Land Rover Defenders which have been serving this mountain community for decades. My ambition was to bring the story of Maneybhanjang and its people to life, showcasing their incredible inner spirit, unwavering tenacity and the daily strifes that their collection of Land Rovers help to overcome. Over the space of ten days, we made the Himalayan village our home, meeting, researching and telling the stories of these remarkable people in an effort to tell this very special story.
